Tremain Gilmore, Co-Executive Director
Tremain Gilmore was born and raised in Norwalk CT. This is his home. Tremain has been securing the hallways of Norwalk middle and high schools for over 22 years. He has been with the Carver Foundation of Norwalk for approximately 20 years starting as a HIV counselor and is currently the Teen Center Manager. Tremain has been a driving force behind so many positive events that benefit the community. One of these events is The ‘Breakfast with Champions” where youth get to hear success stories from community leaders and professionals.
Tremain puts his family before himself. In the midst of all of his community work, he ensures quality time is spent with this family. However, he is bringing his daughter up to understand the importance of community service by engaging his family in his work.

Fritzsareth Gilmore, Co-Executive Director
Fritzsareth Gilmore, more affectionately known as Fritzsa, was born in Caracas, Venezuela to Haitian immigrants. She studied photography at Andrews University. A lover of all forms of art, she has been involved in ceramics, music, cinema, photography and literature. Fritzsa has been an active part of the community for over 30 years and developed a deep commitment to the community through her upbringing. Her parents taught and showed her how to be compassionate and show more love to those less fortunate. She also sits on the board of partner organizations offering her advisory skills to their leadership team. In addition to her service to her community, she is business minded with various entrepreneur ventures.

Shanda Williams, Assistant Director
Shanda A. Williams, M.Ed. is an Assistant Director currently working with the Boston Public Schools (BPS). In her role at BPS, Shanda is an experienced and accomplished operations leader who collaborates with strategic partners to develop frameworks for a team of high-yielding staff. Having been directly impacted by food insecurity and homelessness in her youth, Shanda has a deeply rooted passion for community service and youth development. Shanda's years of experience as a logistician has created a strong critical thinking, organizational and strategic planning foundation that will serve as an asset to furthering the mission of this organization.

Eric Worthy, Treasurer
Eric Worthy is a Fiber Sales Consultant currently working with Frontier Communications. As a native son of Norwalk CT, the city, its community and the state, as a whole, have always been near and dear to his heart. Being a part of EJ's H.E.A.R.T feeds his desire to continue to be of service while shaping the future of the youth through his work leading the organization's development and fundraising.

Eve St. Surin, Social Media /Secretary
Eve provides social media and marking support to the EJs H.E.A.R.T team across the digital platforms and support to the administrative staff as needed. She is a long time Norwalk, CT resident who has over 6 years of experience in the nonprofit field. Her passion for community and health is something that as a member of the EJ H.E.A.R.T's team is filled everyday. Equitable access to resources and better quality of life for all is something that drives her professionally and personally as a member of our organization.
